Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) Group of Companies comprising Perbadanan TAIB, Insurans Islam Holdings Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd organised a shopping event with 50 orphans recently.
Children of Mukim Gadong ‘B’ registered under the Community Development Department received money to buy essential items for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
They were also treated to packed food from Royal Brunei Culinary for iftar. Perbadanan TAIB Group of Companies volunteers assisted the children in the shopping and taught them the value of financial planning and guiding them in purchase decisions as well as differentiating between needs and wants.
