The WARGAMAS Association held a korban ceremony at its headquarters in Berakas yesterday.
Forty-two members participated in event that saw six buffaloes sacrificed.
Guest of honour Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahim attended the ceremony with spouse Datin Hajah Zaleha binti Bujang.
The guest of honour also distributed the sacrificial meat to 80 recipients from the Brunei-Muara District.
“The ceremony is the second one held since 2019 and we hope that it serves as a platform in sharing rezeki with the needy,” said WARGAMAS President Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Mohd Don.
The celebration also aims to express gratitude to Allah the Almighty. – Rokiah Mahmud
