A senior government official facing charges of misconduct introduced his lawyers in court on Tuesday.
Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, 51, indicted with multiple charges of misconduct in public office, introduced lawyers Roy Prabhakaran and Pengiran Khairul Nizam bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Yassin of Messrs Yusof Halim and Partners to represent him.
No plea has been taken yet by Magistrate Harnita Zelda Skinner, who then adjourned the case to July 25, making way for the newly appointed counsels to prepare for the case.
