Belait District Senior Citizens Association (PWEDB) members commemorated Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations at the Kenyalang Cafe, Panaga Club recently.
The association’s advisor and guest of honour Pehin Datu Padukaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Sahri bin Ahmad attended the event with his spouse.
PWEDB Deputy President Hajah Saemah binti Haji Kepli and General Secretary Mohd Yunos bin Haji Pungut welcomed the guests and association members.
Mohd Yunos said the event is one of the annual activities of the association for senior citizens and their family members.
He hoped the event will further enliven the festive atmosphere while praying for the safe return of those performing their haj pilgrimage.
In addition to the distribution of 33 packages of korban meat to the members, the ceremony saw Dr Ustaz Zulkifli bin Zakaria deliver a talk on the importance of the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration. – Daniel Lim
