Seria Energy Lab (SEL) will participate in the 4th Kenali Negara Kitani Carnival at The Mall in Gadong from July 25-28.
SEL will showcase its ‘Full STEAM Ahead’ school holiday activities at the event, organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.
SEL’s ‘Full STEAM Ahead’ includes four hands-on activities suitable for various ages – SEL Studio: Science Magika; Makerspace: Tinkercraft; Innovation Hub: Zap ‘n’ Snap, BioTinkering; and Modular Exhibits.
The activities aim to enhance science literacy, covering fundamental chemistry, practical physics applications, basic circuitry and interactive micro-organism exploration.
The public can visit SEL’s booth at the carnival to learn more about ‘Full STEAM Ahead’. This year, the centre’s SEL Studio programme will collaborate with Professor Stephen Ashworth from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom to showcase his renowned science demonstration Kitchen Chemistry.
