Standard Chartered Brunei (SCB) came back with two gold, one silver and one bronze medal after participating in a regional sports meets against other Standard Chartered banks in the region.
The Standard Chartered Games saw participants from its banks in Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand compete in a number of sports in the games hosted by Standard Chartered Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur from October 26-27.
SCB competed in bowling, futsal, golf, pool and tennis.
SCB Chief Executive Officer Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim said, “After a hiatus due to the pandemic, we are finally able to celebrate with our regional counterparts from different markets in events such as the Standard Chartered Games.
“This event allows different markets to come together to participate in a friendly competition in various sports and deepen existing relationships and build new ones outside of work,” he added.
