Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman and her teammates Peak Performance Sdn Bhd Director Ahmad Fathi bin Dato Paduka Haji Junaidi, Feby Latip, and Erwan Mohamad won second place in the mixed relay category at the HYROX competition in Singapore recently.
Her Royal Highness’ team, representing Peak Club’s ‘Team Peak’, put on a strong showing at their first attempt in the fitness race, with a time of one hour, 15 minutes and 51 seconds.
Team Peak was represented by 13 athletes who participated in mixed relay, men’s relay, doubles and men’s individual categories.
In the men’s relay category, Peak Performance Sdn Bhd General Manager Azmi Ghazali, Ezan Osman, Hafiz Kipli, and Lim Sui Chieh won fifth place. While Peak Coach Khairul Annuar, Mena Othman, Ariffin Ali, and Arya Antin finished with respectable times in their men’s and mixed relay categories.
HYROX combines running and functional workout stations, where participants run one kilometre, followed by one functional workout, repeated eight times.
The event at the Singapore National Stadium saw 6,500 athletes competing. It was the largest ever single-day HYROX event in the world.
