His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, received in audience Singapore’s Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry Dr Tan See Leng.
During the audience ceremony, His Majesty and the Singaporean minister emphasised the importance of the continued close and longstanding relations between the Sultanate and Singapore and discussed matters of mutual interest to enhance bilateral relations between both countries, including economy, investment, trade and capacity building.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade and Industry) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy Mohammad Harris bin Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim were also present. The audience ceremony was held at Istana Nurul Iman.
