A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for some 36 Primary 6 students of Lambak Kanan Religious School was held yesterday at the school’s multipurpose hall.
Acting Deputy Director-General of the Public Works Department at the Ministry of Development Norazmi bin Othman and spouse were the chief guests.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Norazmi, followed by Al-Quran reading and Takhtim by the students.
Doa Khatam was read by a teacher and Dikir Asyraqal by the school’s students.
Students who completed the recitation of Al-Quran received certificates from the chief guest. – Azlan Othman
