Registration for the new intake of Year 7 students at the Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB) for 2024 is now open.
Registration is open to Brunei Darussalam citizens and permanent residents, and applicant must not be more than 14 years old on January 1, 2024.
Non-citizens whose parents work for the government or government-linked companies can forward their special application to the ITQSHHB Board through the institute’s principal.
The applicant must pass with at least grade ‘C’ in all subjects in Primary School Assessment (PSR) or its equivalent.
The applicant must also pass an Al-Quran memorisation test, be willing to stay at the hostel during the course of their study and adhere to the regulations. Acceptance depends on the Board.
Registration forms are available at the school’s Administration Office or downloaded from the Ministry of Religious Affair’s website or the school’s Telegram. Forms can be submitted from August 10 to 19 during office hours.
Forms can be submitted without the PSR results. It can be submitted once results are released.
