Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has been awarded a Four-Star Major Airline rating for 2025 by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), based on feedback from passengers worldwide, the national carrier said in a press release.
This rating reinforces RB’s dedication to consistently providing exceptional in-flight experiences.
Receiving the award on behalf of RB at the APEX awards ceremony on 30th October 2024 at Long Beach, California was Acting Chief Operations Officer of RB Mr. Badarudin Hj Bagol.
The 2025 APEX ratings are based on nearly one million flights rated by passengers across almost 600 airlines globally. They reflect RB’s enduring commitment to quality, service, and passenger satisfaction.
Commenting on the announcement, RB CEO Captain Sabirin Hj Abd Hamid, said: “We are honoured to be recognised with a Four-Star APEX rating for 2025. On 18th November 2024, RB will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary and this achievement is a testament to our team’s dedication to maintaining high standards throughout our 50 years of operations and our passengers’ continued trust in us. While we celebrate this recognition, we are fully committed to elevating our services further to meet and exceed passenger expectations.”
RB said it remains steadfast in its vision for continuous improvement and innovation. Over the past year, RB has rolled out several initiatives aimed at improving the travel experience, including the introduction of RB SKYSHOP, RB’s in-flight Duty-Free; Pre-Select Meals; Expansion of RB’s route network; and sustainability efforts include paperless cockpits and improving fuel efficiency across the fleet.
“While we are proud of our Four-Star status, this serves as both a celebration of our progress and a challenge to push the boundaries of what we offer,” added the CEO. “As we look ahead, our focus remains on innovation, sustainability, and creating memorable experiences for our passengers.”
