Raja Kerbau from the Temburong District won big in the recent remote control boat competition organised by the Radio Control Boat Racing Association (RACOBRA).
The ‘TJ DURATEX RC Power Boat Challenge 2024’ was held for three days and ended on Sunday at Bukit Berambun in Kampong Tanah Jambu.
A total of 407 boats and 98 participants from Brunei, Dubai, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand joined in seven categories.
RACOBRA advisor and former president Junaidi bin Asrad presented the prizes.
The first prize winner brought home a trophy, a boat and a BND500 cash prize; the runner-up won a trophy and a BND300 cash prize; and the second runner-up won a trophy and BND200 cash prize. – Azlan Othman
