Brunei LNG General Manager of Commercial, Nadia Amanda Abdullah Teo said that as the longest running LNG plant in the world, Brunei LNG is proud of their contributions as a Bruneian company to the economic and sustainable development of the nation, having been a key contributor to the Sultanate’s advancement and success for the past five decades.
“As a Bruneian, I am touched and honoured to be a part of this momentous occasion to celebrate 40 years of independence in Brunei and proud of the significant progress we have made as a nation,” she added.
“Together, we remain steadfast in our dedication to help shape a brighter future for Brunei, working as one, united in achieving our nation’s aspirations and the goals of Brunei Vision 2035,” she said.
Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Manager Norleha Delli said that the celebration is a symbol of the nationalist spirit and integration as a nation.
She said that Brunei has seen progressive development, especially in the welfare of its people.
“Participating in the celebrations shows support to the meaningful definition in the National Day slogan,” Norleha added.
“Every citizen got to demonstrate their love towards the country and this goes to show the importance of the celebrations in fostering national unity and pride among citizens.”
