In June, Progresif Media and Radio announced to their partners the cease of operations for Progresif Media. Progresif Radio has ceased operations effective 8th June 2024 while effective from 20th July 2024, Progresif Media will no longer be available to the users and public, according to a press release from the telco provider.
Progresif Media was established in 2019 serving as an online platform aimed at providing a ‘Home for local content’ for Brunei’s talented creators to showcase their work and generate revenue through their creativity.
Progresif’s goal has always been to inspire and nurture local talents in Brunei. Creating this ecosystem has been a cornerstone of Progresif’s objectives, aligning both revenue diversification through value added services with our core CSR pillars focused on Progress in the Arts and Culture, and Progress for Entrepreneurs.
Throughout the journey, Progresif Media premiered numerous locally produced original films and series, enabling local content creators to expand their audience to the local community and beyond. In recent years, key stakeholders such as AITI, have been instrumental in supporting this endeavor.
