Muhammad Lutfi Al-Hakim bin Muhammad Nur Nizamuddin from Nusa Laila Puteri School won first place in the boy’s category of the recent National Al-Quran Memorisation Competition for Primary Schools 2023 Finals. Syed Yahya bin Syed Mu’aaz and Ahmad Harith Irfan bin Haji Umardani also from Al-Falaah School came in second and third places.
Meanwhile, Lina Kirana binti Haji Alamsha from Nusa Laila Puteri School, clinched the top spot in the girl’s category while Thara’ Wafirah binti Haji Mohammad Sharnizan and Maryam Az-Zahra binti Mahfudz Sazali from Al-Falaah School, took second and third spots.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Education (MoE) through its Spiritual Activities Division, Co-Curriculum Education Department at the hall of Al-Falaah School.
Thirty-eight students participated in the boy’s category and 32 in the girl’s category.
Co-curriculum Education Department Acting Director Julaihi bin Mohamad/Mohamat, guest of honour, presented the prizes to the winners.
