Some 54 officials and staff under Division II and below at the Ministry of Religious Affairs participated in the three-day ‘Prayer Perfection Workshop’ held until today, in conjunction with the Israk Mikraj celebration for 1446 Hijrah.
The programme began with a brief overview of the workshop and a presentation on ‘Perfecting Ablution for Travellers in Theory and Practice’, followed by a session on ablution for travellers with a presentation on ‘Prayer Procedures for Travellers from the Theoretical and Practical Aspects’ inside the plane. Four officials from the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) facilitated the course. Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi and Pengiran Haji Reduan bin Pengiran Haji Badaruddin facilitated for the male participants, while Hajah Zunainah binti Haji Gunong and Pengiran Norhayati binti Pengiran Haji Kashran for the females.
Organised by the Islamic Syiar Development Division, in collaboration with the Human Resource Planning and Development Division, PDI and Royal Brunei Airlines, the workshop aimed to raise awareness on the importance of performing prayers correctly while travelling.
