Praising Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) signifies the love towards the Prophet (pbuh), the true guide loved by Allah the Almighty, said Head of Propagation Unit at the Islamic Da’wah Centre in the Belait District Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustafa during Munajat night on Saturday from Ash-Shaliheen Mosque.
He urged Muslims to take the opportunity to praise the Prophet (pbuh) and seek forgiveness from Allah the Almighty to fulfil wishes and aspirations. The religious talk was followed by the recitation of Asmaa ul-Husna and concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Munajat night, organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs for the 149th time, saw Head of Community Unit at Brunei Youth Council Mohammad Ashmeer S/O Imtiaz Ahmad lead the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
Brunei Youth Council members and congregants from Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, STKRJ Lorong 3 Selatan Seria Mosque, Pengiran Muda Abdul Wakeel Mosque in Kampong Kiudang, Tutong and other mosques, suraus and religious halls were present.
Munajat night invites the public to enhance their spiritual practices, seek forgiveness from Allah the Almighty, read Al-Quran verses and collectively pray for the Sultanate to be protected from calamities, disasters and diseases.
