A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held recently as one of the programmes prior to the passing out parade for the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) male and female trainee recruits squad 1/2023.
The ceremony, organised by the Police Training Centre at the Mess Banquet of Police Headquarters in Gadong, involved 86 male and female trainees.
It commenced with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the recitation of Khatam Al-Quran, led by Recruit Md Nadzri bin Haji Abdul Mutalib. Meanwhile, Recruit Mohd Noorzikry bin Norariffin led the recitation of Takhtim Al-Quran and Recruit Muhammad Faiz Saifullah bin Rosli led the recitation of Dikir Marhaban, followed by the sprinkling of perfume by the guest of honour, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Yang Amat Mulia SAC Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammad Saifullah bin Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris and invited guests.
Trainee recruits squad 1/2023 will conclude its police training with a passing out parade on Thursday at the Police parade ground. – James Kon
