The Embassy of Laos to Brunei Darussalam, with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organised a photography exhibition yesterday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Laos and Brunei Darussalam. The event began with the national anthems, followed by welcoming remarks from Lao Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Sengdavanh Vongsay.
The ambassador attributes the growing co-operation between Laos and Brunei Darussalam over the past 30 years to frequent visits by leaders, officials and peoples of the two nations.
Permanent Secretary (Politics and International Organisations) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pengiran Norhashimah binti Pengiran Mohd Hassan was the guest of honour.
The exhibition featured photos depicting the friendly relations between the two countries in the last 30 years. – Azlan Othman
