Payment delays devastate construction firms

My company is owed a significant amount of money in overdue payments for projects, with some payments overdue by two years.

When we inquired about the delay, we were only informed about issues with TAFIS 2.0, which have delayed payment processing.

Even after more than six months, the problem persists. As contractors, we rely on strong cash flow to pay our workers and purchase materials. Despite our constant requests for payment, authorities have shown little concern, continuing to demand that the contractors’ complete project work without providing payment.

This situation has forced many smaller contractors to shut down as they are unable to service bank loans due to the lack of payments for completed work.
