Partnerships inked for upcoming Consumer Fair

D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd held a partner signing ceremony to mark its collaboration with partners for the upcoming 29th Consumer Fair at its premises yesterday.

D’Sunlit Operations Manager Ngu Tiing Siang, signed on behalf of the organisation, accompanied by Business Development Manager Gavin Chai, while official representatives from each organisation signed on behalf of their establishment.

Signing as exclusive activity partners was the Indonesian Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, represented by its Deputy Head of Mission Irwin Iding and economic staff Noviyanti Mariana, and the Thailand Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, represented by its Deputy Head of Mission and Minister Counsellor Aidsada Sundaramani and Counsellor Kantaga Buraphatanin.

Meanwhile, Brunei Press Sdn Bhd signed as the exclusive activity print media, represented by its General Manager Anafiah binti Omar and Senior Manager (Finance and Operations) Suzie Houng.

Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam signed as the official bank, represented by officers from the Chief Marketing Office Jeremy Alan Lee Cheng Zian and Pengiran Khairul Azmin bin Pengiran Haji Mohaimin, while NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd signed as the exclusive sponsor, represented by its Assistant Marketing Manager Walling Bohari and Customer Relations Department Assistant Nur Raghadah Agus.

Other sponsors include IBIC Sdn Bhd as event mineral water provider, AEWON as official apparel provider, Kristal FM as the official broadcast radio partner, Oregon Systems as CCTV services provider, MixMedia as official outdoor digital media partner, Cuckoo as activity partner, Ranoadidas as social media partner and Shaliz Waste Recycling Sdn Bhd as sustainability partner. Themed ‘Back From The Future’, the fair is based on a concept where a future day family from the Consumer Fair in 2124 found themselves stranded in 2024 after their time machine malfunctioned.

It is the consumers’ task to help them return to their correct timeline by participating in activities of this year’s fair.

The future day family characters – Babah, Babu, Boboi and Alai – will appear to guide visitors to the best deals, promotions and exciting activities at the fair.

The fair will also see a grand lucky draw, where attendees have the chance to win prizes including a brand new Toyota Vios, sponsored by Toyota Brunei.

This year’s installment brings the best from Indonesia, Thailand and India, with the Indonesian Halal Expo in the International Convention Centre’s (ICC) Press Conference Hall, Thailand Grand Fair in Sepakat 3 and Mega India Expo in Sepakat 6.

The fair, showcasing over 250 exhibitors and 580 booths, will be open to public from June 26-30 at the ICC in Berakas from 10am-10pm daily, excluding noon – 2pm on Friday. The public is encouraged to bring their reusable bags in the spirit of environmental responsibility. – Lyna Mohamad
