The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) presented His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s personal gifts of dates (Kurnia Peribadi) in honour of the month of Ramadhan for 1445 Hijrah at a ceremony at Nikmat Hall Penanjong Garrison yesterday.
Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan and Permanent Secretary at the MinDef Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin distributed the dates.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the distribution of dates to service commanders, directors, and senior officers of military and civilian directorates and units of the MinDef and RBAF.
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat by Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT) Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, RBN.
