No report lodged on alleged ‘kidnapping’ news says RBPF

James Kon

Following news of a kidnapper disguised as a parent or the guardian of a student at a kindergarten circulating on social media, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) yesterday in a statement stated no report or complaint has been lodged by any parent or guardian or the kindergarten.

The RBPF urged the parent or guardian to lodge a report at the police station. The public is also advised to be on the lookout for any suspicious individuals loitering around school areas. Reports can be made to the police at 993 or any police station.

The RBPF reminded parents and guardians of students to be on alert and not to give any opportunity for individuals to take advantage in committing a crime while students are still at school by fetching their children from school on time.
