Safety and early prevention in non-destructive testing (NDT) went hand in hand at a Next Generation NDT Technology Roadshow at the Garden Sentral Hotel, Kuala Belait on June 14.
Organised by Advantech Alliance Sdn Bhd Malaysia with support from Reliability Services and Solutions Sdn Bhd (RSSB), the roadshow was attended by 40 members across various industries.
Balakrishnan Chandramohan from RSSB said the roadshow aimed to raise awareness of the developments and advancements made in NDT, as well as how the technologies will help to provide a safer environment for workers.
Some of the activities included a talk highlighting the advancements made in NDT over the years, as well as practical showcases of NDT equipment to attendees.
Chandramohan added that not only will the roadshow continue, but similar exhibitions are in the works aimed at the younger generation to help inspire as well as provide an insight into the importance of inspection and NDT.
