Nearly 70 blood donors turned-up for a blood donation campaign organised by the Public Service Department (JPA) in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.
The campaign aimed to promote social responsibility towards the community and increase awareness about the benefits of donating blood.
The campaign will continue as part of the JPA’s initiative to help increase blood stock.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health called on the public to participate in a blood donation campaign at Level 1 of Annajat Complex in Beribi today from 10am-2pm.
Another campaign will be held on July 11 from 9-11.30am and 1.30-3.30pm at the Special Exhibition Room of the Balai Khazanah Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Jalan Pengiran Babu Raja.
Meanwhile a blood donation will also be held on July 12, at Basement Level of Universiti Brunei Darussalam’s Chancellor Hall from 9.30-11.30am and 1.30pm- 3.30pm. Donors are encouraged to book for a slot through the BloodKad app. – Azlan Othman & Rokiah Mahmud
