Six families affected by strong winds received financial assistance from the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Community Development Department under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
Acting Permanent Secretary (Community) at the MCYS Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah presented the financial assistance in a handover ceremony at the MCYS building.
The victims and residents involved in the strong winds were safe and didn’t suffer any injury. – James Kon
