Brunei Darussalam para swimmer Mohd Danial Hakim bin Harjimmey will represent the Sultanate in the ongoing Para Swimming Circuit Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia until March 10.
The swimmer will take part in the 50 metre (m) and 100m freestyle events, 50m backstroke event, 50m breaststroke event and 50m butterfly event.
He is accompanied by team manager Harjimmey Zainal.
A representative of the swimmer said, “Hopefully with the participation of para athletes at these prestigious events, the development of para sports for person with disabilities will attract more para athletes to participate in para sports in Brunei.” – Fadhil Yunus
