Bright Jigsaw School held a National Day celebration yesterday.
The day commenced with a march to the stage with upper primary school students carrying flags and singing the national anthem.
The event featured various performances and activities, including the Bright Jigsaw School song by Year 5 and Year 6 girls, a welcoming speech from principal Shazwani binti Haji Shahibulbahri, a National Day pledge by Year 5 students, and stage performances by the students.
A ‘Best Dress’ contest and mini exhibition displaying traditional games and local delicacies enlivened the celebration.
Managing director Sitty Wardyna binti Haji Mohd Sambas was the chief guest.
Prizes were presented to Best Dress and Outstanding National Day posters at the celebration.
The day concluded with a National Day cake cutting event and a photo session. – Rokiah Mahmud
