The Mukim Serasa Consultative Council held a Yaasiin recitation and Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum, in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Lawi bin Haji Lamat was the guest of honour.
Organised in collaboration with the Mukim Mentiri and Mukim Kota Batu Consultative Councils, the event brought together penghulus, acting penghulus, village heads, acting village heads and village consultative council members.
The ceremony aimed to seek blessings during the holy month and strengthen ties among community leaders and the residents.
The event included the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil, led by imam Haji Shabirin bin Haji Md Noor from Az-Zakireen Mosque, RPN Kampong Meragang. – Fadley Faisal
