As someone struggling with weight issues, I am often intrigued by health products and supplements advertised on social media that claim to aid weight loss.
Some of these products boldly claim that a person can lose up to 10 kilogrammes (kg) in just two weeks simply by consuming their “miracle pills” without ever stepping foot in a gym.
Moreover, the founders of these products are interviewed on radio programmes, promoting their weight loss pills with glowing testimonials from supposed success stories. Are these products monitored and certified by the authorities? If so, why aren’t the authorities introducing them to health clinics as part of an approved weight loss plan?
With 2025 approaching, many people will include weight loss as part of their New Year’s resolutions. If these products are legitimate and effective, I would certainly consider giving them a try.
Hopeful
