Manggis victorious in T10 Cricket Tournament

Manggis emerged champions of the T10 Cricket Tournament after defeating Serikandi Tuskers in the final match at the Panaga Club field on June 24.

Heading to the final game, the Serikandi Tuskers defeated both BSB and TN-XI in the quarters and semis, while Manggis bested LCT and Vikings.

Having won the coin toss to go first, Serikandi Tuskers finished the first round, scoring 56 runs in their allocated 10 overs. Unfazed by the score, Manggis came back strong in one-upping Serikandi Tusker, as the team scored 57 runs despite losing two wickets that resulted in 9.4 overs.

Twelve teams competed in the tournament, separated into four groups.

TN-XI, Serikandi Tuskers and Telugu Warriors were in Group A; Manggis SOS EDS, and Lumut in Group B; BSB, MSB, and TN-XII Next Gen made up Group C; and Vikings, LCT and Brunei Warriors started in Group D.
