    Malaysia education expo draws crowds

The Yes2Malaysia Education Malaysia Expo 2025, which opened yesterday, has drawn a massive crowd of over 1,000 visitors on its first day.

Organised by Rexpocentral Malaysia in collaboration with MEG Educational Services Brunei Darussalam and supported by the Malaysian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam, the event successfully connected aspiring students with 24 top Malaysian universities.

In support of the event, the Malaysian High Commissioner-Designate to Brunei Darussalam Datuk Mohd Aini Atan visited the expo. He was accompanied by Rexpocentral Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Rezal Chan.

Participating universities included IMU University, Asia Pacific University (APU), Taylor’s University, Sunway University, Management and Science University (MSU), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), HELP University, Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM), Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), SEGi University, MAHSA University, University of Cyberjaya, UNITAR International University, Monash University, Le Cordon Bleu, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Quest International University (QIU), Brickfields Asia College (BAC), Universiti Putra Malaysia, Heriot-Watt University, UOW Malaysia and Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL).

One attendee, Amira Saleh binti Awang Yusof, who travelled from Kuala Belait shared her excitement about the expo. “This event is incredibly fruitful as I had the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives and clearly understand my education pathway. The explanations given were very helpful and I have successfully registered for a Law degree at BAC College with a United Kingdom transfer option for chambering,” she said.

Amira was also thrilled to receive a free flight ticket, a special offer for students who signed up during the fair. She added that some of her friends benefited from a visa fee rebate, a perk offered to those who registered at last year’s expo.

The Yes2Malaysia Education Malaysia Expo 2025 has once again proven to be a highly impactful event, drawing large crowds and helping students make informed decisions about their future education. With an outstanding turnout and positive feedback, the expo solidifies its reputation as a premier higher education event in Brunei. – James Kon
