The winners received their prizes during the draw and prize presentation at the Tourism Malaysia Brunei Darussalam Office yesterday.

The campaign, held from August until October 31, offered all Baiduri Cardholders who spent a minimum of BND20 in a single receipt on their Baiduri Credit or Debit Cards entry to the lucky draw by spending at least BND20 in Malaysia, with triple chances for purchases made at Straits Central Agencies (B) Sdn Bhd (SCA).

Alice Teo in an interview said, “I didn’t expect that I would win the first prize. It was a really good surprise.”

She recalled, “Yesterday night, I was doubtful about such a lucky draw and I was selected as one of the finalists? I really thought it was a scam. Today, I made a call to Baiduri Bank to confirm if I was really one of the finalists and the bank confirmed.

“I used a Baiduri Bank card for shopping in Kuala Lumpur during the period of the campaign to be entitled to the draw,” she added.

SCA General Manager Nur Khadijah Abdullah said, “We received a very positive response from the first campaign last year, hence we increased the total prizes from five to eight winners this year. We would like to thank our partners, Tourism Malaysia and Baiduri Bank in entrusting SCA once again for this collaboration.”

Director of Tourism Malaysia Brunei Darussalam Hazrina Azman said, “To ensure Malaysia remains as the preferred destination for Bruneians and in order to reach target of 1.3 million arrivals from Brunei this year, continuous collaboration with local travel partners gives a significant impact.” Meanwhile, Baiduri Bank Head of Retail Banking Lim Kian Chiong said, “At Baiduri Bank, we are committed to enhancing our customers’ lifestyles by providing exceptional value through exclusive promotions like the ‘Cuti-Cuti Malaysia’ Swipe and Win campaign.
