A 46-year-old man yesterday denied a couple of charges in the Intermediate Court, alleging him to have sexually assaulted his daughters, aged nine and 11.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nor’adliatul Hidayah binti Haji Mohd Zaidi framed the charges against the man, whose identity was withheld to protect the victims.
The defendant allegedly sexually assaulted his nine-year-old daughter at their house in early August.
The defendant is also purported to have sexually assaulted his 11-year-old daughter on August 7.
Judge Radin Safiee bin Radin Mas Basiuni adjourned the case to fix trial dates on August 29.
The charges carry penalties of imprisonment ranging from three to 10 years, with whipping. – Fadley Faisal
