Guardian Brunei held its corporate social responsibility (CSR) project in collaboration with the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) at the YASKA Centre in Kampong Kiarong yesterday.
Guardian Brunei Head of Business Tam Vo and YASKA President Tsara’ Nawarrah binti Abdullah Chen were present.
Vo said, “We are thrilled to join forces with YASKA in this meaningful project. By combining our resources and expertise, we can make a real difference in the lives of these children, ensuring they have the essentials they need to thrive.”
At the event, Universiti Brunei Darussalam Dentistry highlighted the importance of oral hygiene care among YASKA children and a pop quiz. A photo session followed.
Guardian Brunei, in partnership with YASKA, is committed to providing care packages to 30 underprivileged children with YASKA.
The initiative is also being carried out at all Guardian stores in the Southeast Asia region to cumulatively provide 40 million baths to the region’s underprivileged children. The collaboration between Guardian Brunei and YASKA underscores Guardian Brunei’s commitment to CSR and dedication to improving the children’s lives. Through this joint effort, Guardian Brunei aims to provide not just material support but also a message of hope and solidarity to the young individuals.
At the ceremony, Guardian Brunei also delivered care packages with essential items that included bath care products, dental hygiene kits and facial care kits tailored to meet the children’s immediate needs.
