Enthusiasts gathered at the Suzuki Gadong Showroom on Sunday to vote for the Top Choice Award in Suzuki Brunei’s Heritage Competition, celebrating the Suzuki Vitara.

Public votes were cast across four categories: the running classic; the best collection; the best looking (stock); and the best looking (accessorised), with the vehicle receiving the most votes earning the Top Choice Award, a recognition of Suzuki’s commitment to quality and reliability.

Winner of the running classic Haziq Nizar said “My Vitara takes me back to the ‘90s, reminding me of the adventures we shared – it’s more than just a car to me.”

Meanwhile, Roslani bin Haji Kadir, awarded the best collection, described his vehicles as perfect for road trips and daily commutes.

Kamarul Zaman, who won the best looking (accessorised), praised his 1994 Vitara JLX for its unique design, and Haji Kasim Talip, winner of the best looking (stock), shared how his 2005 Grand Vitara has been a reliable companion for long trips.

Suzuki Brunei also introduced a trade-in programme, encouraging owners to upgrade to the latest model.

Prizes included a BND2,500 cash voucher for the Top Choice Award winner, with each category winner receiving BND500 and a polishing voucher. Winners will be announced on November 16.
