Kawasaki Honeycarsmart Honor emerged winners of the Super Smasher Badminton Team Tournament 2024 at the Youth Centre last weekend.
In the final, Kawasaki Honeycarsmart Honor edged out TDL ‘A’ 3-2 to clinch the championship.
Also taking place simultaneously was the third and fourth place match between Jotech Peradian’BT and V11 ACE’s, won by the former.
A total of 24 teams took part in the championship involving 288 players nationwide, whereby 51 of whom are young players aged between 12 and 20 competing in the under-21 boys’ doubles.
The Brunei Darussalam National Badminton Association (PBKBD) organised the Super Smasher 2024 tournament for the second time with the cooperation of the Youth and Sports Department.
Youth and Sports Director Umi Kalthum binti Haji Abdul Karim was the guest of honour at the finals. – Fadhil Yunus
