Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri with stakeholders, partners and community members at Pusat Insani in the Belait District on Thursday. The celebration themed ‘Corak-Corak Raya’, highlighted traditional motifs found in local textile and art designs. Artworks created by trainees at Pusat Bahagia Eric Goh showcased elements of Raya and the oil and gas industry, commemorating BSP’s 95th anniversary.
The event featured local business booths, activities and performances.
BSP Managing Director and Shell Country Chair in Brunei Darussalam Agnete Johnsgaard-Lewis in her speech stressed on the importance of collaborations.
“I believe our successes could have only been achieved as a result of the commitment and partnership of everyone here. With that spirit, we must continue to seize opportunities and achieve our goals today and in the future.”
Legislative Council members Yang Berhormat Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman and Yang Berhormat Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann and Pehin Datu Paduka Raja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Shari bin Ahmad were also present. – Daniel Lim
