(ANN/KOREA HERALD) Jin, a member of the global K-pop sensation BTS, is set to release his first solo album titled Happy on November 15 at 2:00pm, as announced by his agency Big Hit Music via the fan platform Weverse.
The album’s theme centers on a journey to discover happiness together, with Jin sharing his personal reflections on happiness and expressing heartfelt gratitude towards fans. Happy will feature six tracks across various genres, all built around band sounds.
A teaser video was released on BTS’ official social media on Tuesday, offering fans a glimpse of the album’s lively and festive vibe. The video showcased colorful shapes accompanied by popping sounds, evoking a party-like atmosphere.
Jin’s previous solo efforts include his 2022 single The Astronaut, which peaked at No. 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and solo tracks such as Awake, Epiphany, and Moon, featured on BTS albums.
Jin, who completed his military service in June this year, also served as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics. He remains the only BTS member to have completed military service as of this week, with fellow member J-Hope set for discharge on Thursday. Last Friday, Jin delighted fans by releasing the music video for his 2021 digital single Super Tuna, inspired by his love of fishing.
