ANN/THE KOREA HERALD – Jennie, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group Blackpink, has officially revealed plans for her much-anticipated solo album, set to debut in 2025.
The announcement was made in a heartfelt video titled Happy Holidays where the artist spoke candidly about the project and her journey leading up to its release.
The album, described by Jennie as “an album like a buffet, offering something for everyone,” promises a rich mix of genres and features collaborations with several artists. Reflecting on the past year, the singer described 2024 as transformative, particularly highlighting the impact of her October single Mantra. She credited the track with driving her personal and artistic growth during what she called “a year of many changes.”
Jennie’s solo career continues to flourish, bolstered by previous hits like One of the Girls, a collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, as well as Mantra, which both charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
Adding to her impressive résumé, she is scheduled to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2025, cementing her place as a global icon in the music industry.
