The Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB), through its Faculty of Usuluddin, organised a dakwah (Islamic outreach) programme featuring Tadabbur (contemplation) of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith in government departments as part of the 41st National Day celebration and the arrival of early Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah.
The programme on Saturday morning at Setia Pahlawan Hall at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, was attended by female officers and staff of the ministry in conjunction with International Women’s Day. A Tadabbur session titled ‘Reminder for Women’ by the Dean of the Faculty of Usuluddin at KUPU SB Dr Norashibah binti Haji Besar,
highlighted the esteemed status of women in Islam.
She emphasised their role in upholding dignity, maintaining good morals and embodying noble values in daily life.
The programme aimed to expand the reach of dakwah across ministries and government departments while fostering awareness among officers, staff and the public on the importance of referring to Al-Quran and Al-Hadith as guidance in everyday life. – Fadley Faisal
