An investigation is being conducted into the school bullying incident, in collaboration with the authorities while certain measures have also been taken, the Ministry of Education said in a statement yesterday.
The ministry said it takes the incident seriously and is conducting a thorough investigation to prevent future bullying and harassment.
The ministry also requested the public to refrain from spreading unsubstantiated information regarding the incident and to avoid speculation that could disrupt the investigation.
The ministry urged the public to report information to the authorities and not post on social media. It advised schools, parents and guardians to monitor student behaviour to ensure a safe learning environment. – James Kon
