The Brunei Darussalam Tennis Association (BDTA) is currently holding the inaugural MT100 Bandar Seri Begawan at the National Tennis Complex (NTC) in Berakas, which will conclude on August 11.
The tournament is part of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Masters Tour that allows local and regional tennis players aged 30 years and above to “enjoy competitive tennis for life, testing themselves against their own age groups, domestically or with travel to popular destinations”, according to ITF in a statement.
Over 35,000 players are registered with the tour that comprises over 500 tournaments in 75 countries, and the MT100 Bandar Seri Begawan is BDTA’s effort to support the national vision of ensuring a high quality of life among the populace, which includes leading a healthy lifestyle.
