A 34-year-old Malaysian was sentenced by the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday to 18 months’ jail with three whippings after he pleaded guilty to Immigration charges.
Inspections led to the discovery of the defendant’s status of being barred and entering and residing in the country without a valid pass.
