A workshop on hydroponics and composting was held at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School recently, in conjunction with the 40th National Day celebration.
The workshop, organised by students from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali’s (UNISSA) Faculty of Agriculture, aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of hydropnic systems and organic waste composting with a focus on environmental benefits.
Around 43 students from the school attended the workshop, which included a mini quiz and practical activities such as constructing hydroponic structures and learning traditional composting techniques. The workshop hoped to raise interest in the field among participants. – Fadley Faisal
