The Women Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam (PSW) recently contributed BND5,000 to the Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Humanitarian fund.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad received the donation for the fund, which was handed over by PSW President Hajah Hassanah binti Haji Hassan.

PSW has been actively involved in community service for almost three decades, with a commitment to contribute to the nation’s development.

The recent donation also portrays a dedication as an undivided organisation to tackle urgent challenges faced by communities abroad.

The minister extended his thanks for the contribution and emphasised the importance of cooperation between organisations and the positive outcomes that can be achieved in developing common goals.

The contribution from PSW will upgrade the nation’s capability in strengthening ties between the three countries.

Meanwhile, Takaful Brunei handed over donations amounting to BND10,192.00 for the humanitarian fund. The amount was collected through Takaful Brunei Mobile users’ donations and from Takaful Brunei.

Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi received the donation to the fund from Takaful Brunei Chief Corporate Services Officer Pengiran Haji Mohd Suffri bin Pengiran Hashim.

The donations were made by users of Takaful Brunei Mobile who donated their MyRewards Points through the mobile app from February 27 to April 30.
