His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam presented letters of credence to newly-appointed Brunei Darussalam envoys and received letters of credence from newly-appointed foreign envoys to the Sultanate yesterday.
His Majesty first presented letters of credence to Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Oman Noralizan binti Abdul Momin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Philippines Megawati binti Dato Paduka Haji Manan and Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to ASEAN in Jakarta, Indonesia Latifah binti Zaini.
His Majesty then received letters of credence from Ambassador of Oman to Brunei Darussalam Erma Said Mohamed Al Kathiry, Ambassador of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam Lim Hokseng and Ambassador of Russia to Brunei Darussalam Mikhail Vladimirovich Baranov.
After the ceremonies, His Majesty received in audience the newly-appointed Brunei Darussalam envoys and the newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam.
Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof was also present at the ceremonies, which took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
