The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI), Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Muallaf Development Division (Muallaf Welfare) and Tutong District Dakwah Unit in collaboration with Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary School (SMALHB) donated daily necessities to 20 convert families in the Tutong District recently.
The distribution, under the SMALHB Prihatin Project, was handed over by visiting the converts’ residences in Kampong Kuala Ungar and Kampong Benutan.
SMALHB Principal Hajah Azizah binti Haji Mohamad and Head of the Muallaf Development Division Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub led the distribution team.
Meanwhile, the waqaf in the form of solar fans, mats, slippers, telekung and prayer equipment were also presented to Kampong Bang Dalam Mosque and the students of the Converts Guidance Class at Darul Muttaqin, Kampong Kuala Ungar. – Lyna Mohamad
