I am writing to express my frustration regarding the poor condition of the residential roads along Jalan Kecil Tanjong Nangka and Jalan Paya Bunga Merah in Kampong Sengkurong.
Ongoing construction in the area has led to frequent use of heavy vehicles, significantly damaging the road surface.
Unfortunately, no repair work appears to be underway, and the potholes have only grown larger over time.
Driving on these roads has become a nightmare, especially during rainy weather or in the evening when visibility is low.
For the safety and convenience of all residents, I urge the authorities to prioritise repair works.
The current state of the roads poses a serious hazard to drivers and pedestrians alike. The photos here illustrate the extent of the damage, and I hope this will prompt swift action.
