Great turnout for 28th Consumer Fair

The 28th Consumer Fair (CF28) concluded yesterday, with crowds flocking to snag the last day of bargains and deals from local and international vendors set up at the International Convention Centre for the widely popular four-day event.

The event concluded yesterday evening with the CF28 Grand Lucky Draw, where Amal Muizzah binti Misli won a Toyota Raize, sponsored by NBT Brunei Sdn Bhd.

She expressed disbelief over the announcement of her win.

“I’ve joined the past few draws and never won. I would have never thought I would win this year. I’m still in shock,” she said.

Amal Muizzah said the Toyota Raize will be given to her mother as a gift.

Meanwhile, the second prize was won by Noriesya binti Ruzi who took home a massage chair sponsored by Gintell Brunei and Md Fakhri Marzuki bin Marsal clinched the third prize, a Cuckoo water purifier.

The lucky draw was open to the public, who could enter with every purchase of items at the consumer fair.

According to organiser D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, the consumer fair has become an extensive platform to showcase products and services from local and international participants.

One of the vendors, Amir Hazwan who is with Cuckoo Brunei, said that the response since day one has been very good, and improved over the weekend.

“We had quite an encouraging response from visitors participating in a couple of games to win our merchandise,” he said, adding that their area was always packed. – Lyna Mohamad & Adib Noor
